The Woodland Homestead - A Virtual Tour
Uncle Jim had the idea to shoot a video to show off the Woodland Farm for prospective buyers. He and Rivers teamed up to produce it, and it came out great! It's more of a documentary than a virtual tour, outlining the history of Obie and Ruth Langley and their life in the home, the land, and surrounding area. Great job guys!
...now who wants to mash this up with old photos and personal accounts?
Dad, want to kick it off? Post in the comments if you have any nice photos from our times on the farm.

Girls at the Beach
From Jessica's mom, Janet:
Jess/Peter and the girls visited last weekend and the girls experienced Miami Beach for the first time...topless no less, but with lots of sunscreen. The time was enjoyed by all.
• Sarah is with Ric and close up with the hat
• Sophia is with Jess
• Together... Sarah is on the left and Sophia on the Right

Coop-cident

Having decided to take him to the emergency room, we realized that his feet were cut up too. There were small cuts on the top and bottom of both feet, so I carried him in his bloody shirt down Grandma's fancy condo and all the way to the hospital.
Cooper was amazing the entire time, only crying when the glass first broke, mostly from being scared. He sat still while the doctor gave him a few stitches on his lip, and was only a little impatient during all the waiting. The doctor hadn't seen a cut like his before, where it spanned across the lip and out to the skin near the corner.
A week later, it's healing up nicely, and I don't think there will be much of a scar, if any. Besides, as they say: "wounds heal, and chicks dig scars". Big man Cooper!

St Pete Grand Prix 2011 (Part 2)
Here's a follow-up to the last post about our trip to St Pete last weekend. One of the highlights from the Grand Prix was the series of drifting races. They're not really races per se, more like exhibitions where the drivers score points for taking turns "in style".
Watching from Grandma's place made it a lot easier to appreciate what the drivers were doing with their cars. Here's some info if you're interested in drift racing.
